Safety Tips & Features To Look For!

auto news No Comments »

suzuki_forenzaAlthough finding a car can be difficult, finding a very safe car is an even more daunting task, as you probably really have no idea exactly what you are looking for.  That is what we are here for, to make sure that your job is a little bit easier and to ensure that you do, in fact, buy an extremely safe car.

One of the first things that you might want to look for is rear parking sensors.  This definitely comes in handy whenever you are living in a city that you have to Parall Park a lot, as you never know when you might be backing up too much.  These sensors will actually assist you with parking and truly make sure that you realize how close you are.

You also want to make sure that the antilock brakes are there as well, as this actually stops your cars brakes from locking up, which is safer.

Spring is all about the bright and brilliant colors and I can tell you for sure that there is going to be a heck of a lot more yellow cars on the road, as they it is certainly one of the most popular colors, especially during the spring months.

More and more, yellow is popping up and most of the time, it is not just that banana yellow either, it is actually a yellow that is pastel as well, which is a yellow that I like better.  It is toned down and looks great.

Want to be a little different than the norm?  That is what yellow is all about guys!

Rolls-Royce Phantom Electric — Could Be Here Sooner!

Hybrid Cars No Comments »

Rolls-Royce Phantom Rumors – that is all I am hearing about right now and we are going to add some more fuel to the fire of the rumormill and tell you that the electric Rolls-Royce Phantom might actually hit the streets in as little as 12 months!  Right now, BMW – which is Rolls-Royce’s parent company have been getting very involved in EV technology and the Rolls-Royce Phantom would be the best choice to launch this new technology onto.

Since Rolls-Royce Phantom owners right now usually like to be driven versus actually driving, the EV Phantom seems to make sense on a lot of different levels.  Not only given the sheer size of the car but also – this car is expensive and looks incredible.

If you have been waiting for the entirely-electric Rolls-Royce Phantom – I can tell you that it is just around the corner!

GM to offer in-vehicle WiFi on select models

auto news No Comments »

GM to offer in-vehicle WiFi on select modelsIn this day and age, we all seem to be glued to our cell phones or worse, our laptops.  I know that personally – I have been waiting for an automaker to come up with some way to incorporate WiFi into my car and now – now they have.  GM is actually thinking about making this a standard on a few models, which to me is pretty cool!

Autonet is the name of it and it is actually a device that is going to in your car.  The full price for installation of this particular device is about $500.00, but it could become a standard eventually on every car if the popularity keeps up – which it should!

If you are looking for Autonet cars, you might want to check out GMC, Chevrolet, Buick, and Cadillac cars.

BMW C1-E Concept: Check It Out!

BMW No Comments »

BMW C1-E Concept So, I think that BMW certainly has the right … the best concept in the world, for it is not only just a scooter but it is a scooter that can really go anywhere and has an electric engine, so it is very eco-friendly and safe.  The BMW C1-E Concept is right now, just a concept and while I love this little rider, I think that it might need some work.

Between 2000 and 2003, BMW released a similar scooter and it was not all that safe … only because if you got into an accident, you were most likely screwed.  Now though, the BMW C1-E Concept has tire pressure control, anti-slip control and traction control – so safety is definitely there!

If you are wondering what exactly you would use this scooter for, think about it … you could ride it to work, the store – so many different places!

Fiat 500 Abarth by Karl Schnorr: It’s Upgraded!

auto news No Comments »

Fiat 500When it comes to the Fiat 500 – we all know that it is going to be one hell of a car, however – what can they do to improve it?  Well, Karl Schnorr really believes that he can improve the Fiat 500 with all sorts of different upgrades.  The partnership between Fiat and Chrysler is a great one and that is exactly what has our interest hooked – simply because we think that we can improve on the Fiat 500.

The Fiat 500 has an above-standard engine already inside of it, for it produces about 133 HP, however with some upgrades you can push that horsepower up to about 185, which is something that is pretty damn cool!  You can also mount this beauty on 17-inch rims and the overall look of the Fiat 500 with the upgrades will be better off, trust me.

Fiat 500 is one car that I have fallen deeply in love with over the years and the fact that they keep making it better and better is awesome!

Car Crashes: Some Of The Major Causes.

Car Crashes No Comments »

cow_farWe all know that car accidents happen – most of the time car accidents are something that you can not avoid, however … did you ever really think about what causes a car accident and just how many times it is truly because the driver is distracted?  To be completely honest, cell phones are one of the major reasons why car accidents happen nowadays; however, that is not the number one reason. There are many other reasons why car accidents happen and they are due to other things than distractions.

For example, animals could be one of them.  An animal in the middle of the road or running across the middle of the road is definitely something that causes a lot of different accidents.  Another thing is going to be poor road conditions and also poor weather conditions.

The moral of the story?  Just make sure that you are very careful whenever you are driving.  Keep your eyes on the road and pay attention to everything.

Identity Theft: It Is Spreading To Cars Now!

Security No Comments »

Identity TheftIdentity theft, we all know that it is a very, very big problem in the world right now.  However, did you know that identity theft has actually spread to the car world?  Did you know that someone can actually steal your VIN number and make your car their car?  Well, it has been happening more and more and more nowadays and that is something that you should be aware of.

Now, many of you that might not know where the VIN number is going to be, it is actually on your registration.  This is one of the main reasons why you should never leave your registration where someone can find it – for example, your glove compartment or your center console are not going to be the best places to leave your registration.

You should put your registration in your wallet and carry that with you, that way you will always have it with you!

The 2010 Kia Forte: It’s Cheap, Quick & Cute!

Kia No Comments »

phpthumb_generated_thumbnailjpgThe Kia brand is a brand that is known for making good, quick and cheap cars and that is exactly what the 2010 Kia Forte is all about.  For those of you that do not know, Kia is actually a parent company of Hyundai and since Kia cars have graced the automotive market, they have torn it up and have become some of the best cars of their class!  The new 2010 Kia Forte is just that and they have made it super stylish as well!

Some of the main competitors that the Kia Forte has against it include Honda Civics, Toyota Corolla’s and Mazda Mazda3’s and to be honest, the Kia Forte is one of the best of these cars.  No matter how you look at it, the Kia brand beats out its competitors on price, performance and just overall feel of the car itself … not to mention just how fashionable this car truly is.

Personally, I have not driven a Kia more than a test drive and the test drive alone had me hooked – and I’ve test driven a heck of a lot of cars in my day.  So in 2010 … check out Kia!
