Gone not in sixty seconds, but maybe faster. A lot of car enthusiast will go after the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda owned by Hollywood actor Nicholas Cage during the Russo and Steele’s yearly auction in Arizona this January.

The hemi powered Barracuda of Cage is a rare find considering it is number 128 of 284 produced with the 4-speed transmission. The American muscle car has a triple black scheme— black chassis, seats, and hard top. This was the original configuration when the Barracuda was released in 1969.

The powertrain of the car of the actor was modified and tuned to have an output of 425 horsepower. Kept holy were the iconic shifter in the shape of a pistol-grip, rally instrument cluster, wheels, and super track pack.

The car was inspected in 2005 by expert organizers and they authenticate the cars history using the window sticker, previous owner’s records, and its owner’s manual.

The title of the car shouts Cage in any event that anyone will doubt who the current owner of the muscle car is.

The Arizona event happens in Scottsdale on January 14 to 18 with around 600 vehicles to be auctioned out. Organizers are keeping their fingers crossed that the number of attendees will surpass last year’s 35000 from which 12000 are bidders.

Car enthusiasts are also raring to see the Chevy Monte Carlo SS used by Dale Eanhardt Jr. during his win in the 2004 Atlanta Motor Speedway. The dashboard bears the signature of the driver.

Other cars to stare at are the 1927 Type 37 Bugatti Grand, a Testa Rossa Ferrari 250 from the 1950’s, and a Gulfwing Mercedes Benz 1955.
